Overview

The purpose of the Artist Presentation Society auditions is to seek out gifted young musicians in classical music and provide a forum to display their talent.

The Society holds annual auditions in St. Louis. Applicants are selected to audition based on their performance on a CD submitted with the application. Successful candidates perform at the auditions before a jury of professional musicians. Winners are selected based on their musicianship and readiness to perform in public. All candidates receive written feedback on their performance from the jury. Each winner shall present a full-length program at a concert in St. Louis during the following concert season and shall receive a $1,000 cash award.

Auditions were held on Saturday, April 24, 2010.
