 Junhong (Ivan) Jiang - 2025 Award Winner 

Yang Zhou, saxophonist

Junhong (Ivan) Jiang, pianist, is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts degree candidate in piano performance and literature advised by Timothy Ehlen at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a graduate teaching assistant in vocal accompanying and music theory, as well as serving on the piano faculty at Illinois Community Music Academy. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee under Max Levinson, and a Master of Music degree and Artist Diploma from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where he studied with the legendary pianist André Watts. He is currently on the adjunct faculty at Millikin University where he also serves as a piano instructor at the Millikin Community Arts Academy (MCAA).
